I don't need to test my programs. I have an error-correcting modem.

If you ended up here you must hve clicked on my name somewhere.

So, it seems right I give you a bit more information on myself.

My actual name is Francesco Rizzi, but I also go by Frank, which seems easier for many Americans.

Online, I often use the nick Olorin as you might have guessed. For those of you wondering where that comes from, I can only point you to The Lord of the Rings by Tolkien.

I was born in Italy, and moved to the United States for college, in Georgia. I now live in Florida, and work as a programmer.

I have been a judge at the Southeastern Regional ACM Programming Competition for 2 years now, so, if you're involved with that, drop a line ! I am very interested in hearing feedback about our past competitions!

If you need to get in touch with me, feel free to use my francesco.rizzi@gmail.com address spam will simply be deleted :hmm:

In my spare time, I play Unreal Tournament 2004, and I am working on my very first map for it.

That should give you a better idea.

Wiki Bookmarks

As I browse the Unreal Wiki, I often find pages that are rather interesting, but I don't have time to read them throughfully at the moment ('cause I'm looking for something else, for instance). I could add a ton of bookmarks to go back to those pages, but I figured I can also add an ever-growing list right here, so that anyone browsing to this page might discover some gems as well.

Feel free to add to the list, if you want, but always, please, add a small description of why you find a certain page interesting.

  • Mapping Checklist, 'cause I should always fo through it before posting a map. Culling textures, for instance, was a new tip for me.
