In the UnrealEd Interface, a resource browser is a floating window that shows the resources that are contained in packages. You use a browser to examine the contents of a package, and to choose resources to place in your map, such as textures, sounds, and static meshes.
There is a browser for each type of resource:
- Actor Class Browser
- Animation Browser
- Group Browser
- Mesh Browser
- Music Browser
- Prefab Browser
- Sound Browser
- Static Mesh Browser
- Texture Browser
