Engine

Unreal Tournament, also referred to as UT '99, is the first game in the Unreal Tournament series and the third one in the Unreal Serie after Unreal and it's extension Return To NaPali. It used the same engine version as the original Unreal, and included all the content from it apart from the levels and music.

The engine does not contain prominent features. It mainly consists in upgrades of the engine used in Unreal. Most of the content of one game can be used in the other, provided packages and scripts are impported correctly from one editor to another.

Versions

The last official patch released by Epic Game is the patch 436, solving most fo the problems found in the engine. Additionally, the community released a 451 patch, mainly used for servers, wich seems to break the Unreal editor.
