Worst-case scenario: the UEd Goblin wipes the map and burns down your house.
OS: Windows 98 4.10 (Build: 67766446)
CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 1196 MHz with 255MB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420 (2942)
CreateWindowEx failed: The operation completed successfully.
History: PerformCreateWindowEx <- WCheckListBox::OpenWindow <- WBrowserActor::OnCreate <- WWindow::WndProc <- WWindow::StaticProc <- PerformCreateWindowEx <- WBrowser::OpenWindow <- WBrowserActor::OpenWindow <- WM_BROWSER_DOCK <- WEditorFrame::OnCommand <- WWindow::WndProc <- WWindow::StaticProc <- UEditorEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop
Can anybody help me ?
GRAF1K: Notice WM_BROWSER_DOCK in the crash history. A few people I've heard of have UEd crash when the try and dock something, but apparently It's docking the browser tabs on first load. Try going in Unrealed.ini and changing Docked=1 to Docked=0 under [Texture Browser], [Sound Browser], etc.
El Muerte TDS: Notice OS: Windows 98 4.10, UnrealEd3 runs like crap on win98, you can't do anything about it. It's best to use Windows 2000 or newer.
GRAF1K: ...what he said, only save yourelf a headache and a half: don't get XP. I recommend Win2KPro
